it would make no difference if they read it.. if honda not going to warrant their quality issues there's nothing anyone can do about it.

CR relies on their own surveys that they can easily reduce to the little red/black dots in the magazine.
They never talk about specific issues unless they can hype them to get free advertising in the media, such as their handling of iPhone antennas and Izuzu/Suzuki tipping. Then they get really specific!

Not especially. They do their own testing and generally not like C&D or R&T. for example thay start acceleration tests with engines at idle where the enthusiast mags start from elevated rpm, like 3000 rpm, and drop the clutch oraccelerator.
CR has consistly put the Fit at the top until this year when the Mexican plant has had so many problems, including transport theft, that its dropped down. You can read more in industry weeklies like Automotive News and they only hit the high points.
