WOP vs PWP

Hello all. I tried to search for this one with no luck, so I thought I'd give this one a try here.

Is there any difference between our USDM WOP Fit (paint code NH788P) and JDM Premium White Pearl (paint code NH624P)? If not, is it just the naming convention between the regions?

I'm shopping for JDM GK5 parts and see that some parts (ie. rear wings) are already painted PWP.

In my search, I came across this link on Keenanparts.com, and you can see that you can order touch up paint for both PWP and WOP under the same item; which leads me to believe that they may be the same.

Thoughts?

Same???

I tend to believe they are the same since all three (White Diamond Pearl, WOP and PWP) ARE LISTED SAME PART NUMBER FOR TOUCH UP PAINT KIT. WOP is the only two-part touch up kit (bought it recently).

hmm, took a look further (as I didn't know touch up paint kits can be a 2-part process) and found these:

NH-788P White Orchid Pearl

NH-624P Premium White Pearl

NH-603P Diamond White Pearl

I emailed the seller the same question. Will post the reply if/when I get it.

It appears this is a quandary loosely wrapped in a conundrum. Good luck and DO post your findings .... confusing!

Got a reply:

Thank you for your interest. The colors are absolutely different. The color code should be shown in whichever listing you see so order using that
information.
Not quite sure if that's the case. Once upon a time, I had a "Jazz Blue" 20AE GTI, which was the same color as "Nogaro Blue" for Audis, but just a different naming convention.

I guess next step is to park next to a Honda/Acura and compare the PWP to the WOP?
