Fog Lamp Relay

Does anyone know the exact location of the OEM fog lamp relay? It's a little colder outside than I though it'd be today, so I was hoping perhaps someone can save me from having to poke around under the hood or dashboard with a stethoscope and multi-tester.

Has anyone obtained a wiring diagram or located the fog lamp relay yet?

Yes - the only results I can locate are my own thread here and a lot of information pertaining to previous generation Fits.

I suspect it may be a plug-in relay in the under-hood fuse box on the drivers side. Sometimes the lid of these has a description and/or rating imprinted.

If not under the driver side dash near the kick panel, it will likely be over in the engine bay on the driver side behind the battery in the fuse panel. It can also be inside a relay box on the passenger side which contains the rear defroster relay.

I plan on mapping out the headlight relays, including fog light and DRL relay. If the service manual was easier to get I'd go that route.

I have a set of LED H4 and H8 lights I want to install, but need to modify the DRL unit so the LED's do not flicker due to the PWM of the DRL unit. Normally no issue with filament halogen bulbs, but no good for LED's without a decoder in the converter box circuitry.

I ended up locating the relay tucked up under the dashboard.

My quick "how-to" guide with information on the relay and modifying the fog lamps to work with the parking lamps is here: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...fog-lamps.html
