I don't think I'd even go that far lol. then again, I already have RGB LED undercarriage lighting underneath my Fit. Sadly its considered "illegal"

Cops don't mess with you with the blue lights on top???

They havent yet (knocks on wood) but they really arent THAT bright or anything. The cool part is tough they are solar powered LED lights, so i dont even touch them, they photocell is built in so they automatically come on at night. really i only spend about 10 minutes with them on the road until i get home.

Oh please, the lights only come on when the door is open. Cheap $40 mod that makes the car look cool (I think) when parked. Anyone that thinks the FIT is a high performance race car is drinking too much koolaid.

Only red and blue lights are "illegal" as it will confuse the other drivers to identify you as a police officer or EMT. Granted I have yet to see any police patrol car with that type of lights installed.

Just a victim of retarded laws these days. Hell, I can't even have "Knight Rider" lights front of my car.

I almost did the knight rider lights too but then it would have looked beyond immature. Actually Green is considered EMT here in CT.

***What makes the lights illegal is where it is visible in CT

White/Amber can only be visible from the front 1/3 of the vehicle
Red/Amber/white can only be visible from the rear 1/3 of the vehicle
Amber/white can only be visible from the sides of the vehicle.

When I get my utility trailer I'm lighting that bitch up with LEDs like crazy. For the seldom times I will use it I want to look obnoxious (but legal) going down the road.

These lights would seriously be illegal out on a public road:

Yeah illegal as all hell, but to me I think its a cool looking mod. Its meant to be a flashy (no pun intended) show piece with the car parked. I do a decent amount of tailgating for NASCAR and other sports events that's when I have it on. Nice eye catcher IMHO.

We did not decorate my daughters car, but in holiday related news, we did decide to purchase an artificial tree this year! We started with a real one, but after it's branches dropped, it turned out to be one of the ugliest trees we have ever had.

ENOUGH! No more stringing lights, and best of all, our new tree has a remote control so you can change the lights from white to multi-color, all with the push of a button!

It is a clear sign of old age when putting up a real christmas tree each year becomes a chore.

Hopefully, we will now have more time to decorate our car!

Same here. Except didn't want real trees to scratch up the car. So bought a fake tree which took 5 minutes to put together!

Fake trees are way to go for older folks but keep the tradition going for young kids.
