amazing little (big) car

In addition to 2015 fit, I have a 2011 JEEP Grand Cherokee. Packed Cherokee with presents and luggage Christmas Eve for 300 mile trip. Low and behold, the JEEP woud not start (turned out battery died). Did not want to take time to correct problem so decided to use Fit for trip. Was worried about fitting all cargo into the Fit, but it was no problem with room to spare. Couldn't believe all the room available in the Fit!

First long trip in the Fit, all highway. Ride felt solid/sure footed at 65-75 MPH. Got about 38 mpg. Not much wind, engine, CVT noise. So, except for some fit and finish and dealer prep problems at beginning, am happy with this little (big) Fit!

Just did a similar trip. Had me, my G/f, and my English Bulldog in the back as well as three suitcases and many presents. Everything fit, although was tight, but I was still able to see out my rear view mirror, so I guess I could have fit more. 800 mile trip each way, and the car was both comfortable, quiet and gas friendly. Averaged about 36-38 miles.

Yes, big interior.
I had a 8 foot ladder in my Fit Wednesday, with all the doors and windows fully closed.
Try that in most other cars.

This car really is like the TARDIS. It's bigger on the inside. So comfortable, I love it.

My daughter can move her dorm room stuff in one trip home. What more can we ask for?
