Don't get me wrong. I really like my 2012 Mustang, but the Fit is so easy to drive, when I get in the Mustang it's like I'm driving a large box around.

I went from a minivan to the Fit, so I know what you mean as I was also driving a large box around.

I would actually prefer a bit more resistance to the steering - I was afraid to sneeze for a while!

Virtually any American behemoth of the '60 or later can be steered with a pinky. even when stationary, Of course you pay the price in lack of steering feel and feedback.

I love the steering in my aircooled VWs. No power at all, but light and direct. Of course their steering wheels have to be larger and steering at a standstill isn't with your pinky unless it is particularly strong.

I suppose the steering is one of things I miss from my impreza. But I do enjoy the ease in which the fit drives. Not nearly as floaty as the feeling of my dads old Oldsmobiles from the 70s and 80s. Now the steering of those were crazy loose and easy. The fit falls somewhere in between.

The roadhandling ability of this car is staggering. It's not harsh but gives you enough confidence to really take advantage of good roads. City driving is a blast too. I love cutting through traffic.

Honda nailed it when they put this car together.

And you haven't even mentioned how easy it is to park.
