OK, I'm officially attached to my FIT

My two and a half month old FIT has been in the body shop since Monday morning and my rental is nice (VW Beetle) -

but I miss my new car.

I can't believe how attached I've become to it since I bought it!!! I keep feeling for the steering wheel volume controls, I miss my hands-free Siri, the rear view and side cameras, keyless entry, etc.

Pathetic, isn't it?

No you are not pathetic. This is a known issue, the technical/medical term for it is Fit Separation Disorder, and it is an addiction many of us suffer from.

I love all those tech functions too. That is a reason I choose EX over LX.

We're at six months now. I'm more than attached to it--I'm addicted to it.

I love my Fit too! It's dark grey, and my kids have named it BB (Baby Bullet). I've always driven Hondas, but so far the Fit is my favorite. I prefer smaller cars over SUVS and mini-vans. And I'm loving the great gas mileage!

They're making Beetles with a "lot of zip" now? My impression has always been that they were underpowered, I guess they're trying to change that image to keep up with all the other manufacturers. Anyway, congrats on "getting Fit again."

YEp. That's why i got the EX. I don't like pulling my keys out of my pocket. I love getting calls from my phone to the car. That is great.
