I have noticed that there is a small gap between my front wheel well/fender and the body of the car (driver's side only). It's the small piece of plastic that runs along the inside of the wheel well and is flush with the body of the car on the front passenger side. I'm worried that salt and dirt will accumulate and rust will develop. I took it to the dealer and they said it was "normal" but it's clearly not the way it's supposed to be (there is not a space running the length of the plastic, it is only gapped in 1-2 areas).

Does anyone else have this?
