Lining wheel wells.

So I have seen a few posts about an issue that occurs in the later miles with 15-16 fits of the wheel wells falling apart or wearing out. I had a thought would getting your wheel wells linex/rhino lined be a good idea. I see that this is something that truck owners who offload. Any thoughts?

i removed the passenger liner and linexed the interior, (and never replaced it) i soaked the drivers liner one in fiberglass and linexed a bit above it, but all the fuel piping is up there so wanted to keep the liner as protection.

if i did it again i dont think i would soak in fiberglass, its like a SPONGE for resin, but it is pretty stiff now, i even trimmed it back a bit to make sure mud didnt collect between liner and metal fender.

will let you know in 20 years the results!...lol

That could get pretty pricey. I'm honestly gonna just load on the plastidip then some high temp black paint to absorb some road noise and keep things clean.

I drove around with them off for a day on my GD and its really loud on wind noise without them. I suspect hat translates in to pretty dismal mileage numbers noise usually = lost energy.

Yeah it was just an idea that I had and was thinking it was a good idea, if plasti dipping would also help prolong the life? I do live in Maryland and an just trying to think ahead before I put her through some winter roads.
