Hello fit freak fellas

I have a question regarding VSA. All of honda fit selled in the USA have it regarding the model. But abroad it is not offered not even in the higher trim model. I assumed it is wired and prepared to be installed aftermarket but in they don't know it in the dealership.

Looking up into he internet I found this

Do you think I could install it? VSA is one of the biggest improvements in safety according to the HIS and NHTSA.

 

That's bizarre! I don't understand the marketing strategy of the auto producers. For years all cars sold in Canada had larger windshield washer fluid containers than those sold in the US, about double the size. We also had a warning light that came on when fluid was low. Every car I've owned for years has had this and it's mandated by law here. My 2013 Accord has it but I'm not sure if the Fits do I don't have mine yet.

As you say, I'm sure your car is wired for VSA, why not just install it unless it contravenes some legislation in your country.
