New guy e21fun, Passion berry

Hey guys, new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. Im Nick from Baltimore and im a bmw tech.
I just picked up a 2015 passion berry purple fit after my BMW X3 was totaled (victim of a drunk driver )
I needed a good DD for my fiance and something with awesome gas mileage to drive from Baltimore to central NJ/PA almost every other weekend. Im getting 34-36mpg for mixed driving! I haddd to get the passion berry and was able to source one from Faulkner Honda in Harrisburg PA. I chose the cvt since it would be my fiance's car to drive to work everyday and they get better gas mileage (nominal I'm sure but still lol). Ill post pics in a little while, the fiance has it at work and she works nights lol (not that its different than any other stock ex lol)
I have a few questions to search out so i hope you guys can help me.

Awesome cars man! E30 owner here. I've had three BMWs - an E34 and two E30s. Cool to see another classic BMW guy here.

Def man, I just sold an e30 a few weeks ago. My brother and I bought and sold many bmws over the past few years. A lot of people were like "aww Damn going from a bmw to a Honda" and I'm like "Hell yeh best deal ever" lol love my fit. Only 800 miles but I've fallen harder for this fit more than most of my cars. Maybe it's because it's my first brand new one but after 20+ cars that still says something!

I hear ya man. I love my old BMWs, but I also like the Honda mixture of reliability and a good amount of fun. Actually, my e30s were all tank-like other than some catchup work I had to do because of previous owners. Now, new BMWs on the other hand... I won't make that mistake again

Welcome e21. My first foray into BMW land was a 2001 Z3, later traded it in for an E46 droptop. Loved the way those cars handled. Not practical for a DD by any means, but they were both second cars for me. I do miss those sunny summer days cruising with the top down though. However, the Fit is probably the most practical car I've ever owned and I'm lovin' it.

I just traded in my e39 wagon for a Passion Berry Pearl Fit. Love it. Love it. Love it.

But then again, in comparison to a wagon that had a bad head gasket, no heat, no radio, electrical problems every time it rained, etc.

Nice choice! Passion Berry Pearl is clearly the color pick of discerning Fit owners.

Enjoy!

I'm planning to buy a Passion Berry EX Manual for my daughter for graduation next week. She's been driving the '94 Miata that she learned in for the last 6 years and I'm proud that she prefers three pedals.

Here's my weekend driver, with my daugther at the wheel. It's got an M20, 5spd, LSD, Recaros, Panasports, etc. No heater hoses, no A/C of course, no radio, no headliner, just goes.

If only we could get a Fit in Inka orange...
