I just bought a Honda Care VSC D82 plan (8 years/120,000 miles/$0 deductible) for $970, no tax, from Hyannis Honda in Hyannis, MA, which is the same dealer where I bought my Fit 2 weeks ago. At the time of purchase, the finance guy was trying to sell various plans to me for $1300-$1600, so I declined, knowing I could find them cheaper online. Funny how the lowest online price I found was from the same dealer!


If you go to their website, they have a form you can fill out to receive e-mail price quotes for all of their Honda Care plans. Good luck!

 

Actually, you should wish them "bad luck" since you are gambling $970 that your car will experience a covered failure that exceeds that cost between 36,000 and 120,000 miles. If you don't meet all of those criteria it would be more efficient to just flush 10 C-notes down the toilet.

It would be smarter to just put that money in the bank. If you need a repair you can draw on it. If you don't, you still have it.

A bargain ripoff is still a ripoff.
