8 months and 30000 miles
It ain't fair, 30000 miles in 8 months should make us winners but we are a distant
second place in this group.
43.0 mpg at 80% highway. We live in the mountains.
One repair and that was for wires eaten by a small fury animal.
Going to do the 3rd oil change this week, easy job and I save about 50% on the
cost of taking it somewhere.
How are y'all doing on those tires that came on your FIT? We are going to be lucky
to get 40000. The next set will be much higher quality.

I'm at ~21,000 miles after about 8=½ months. I replaced my OEM wheels/tires with aftermarket and Conti Extreme Contacts, which are holding up quite well (and do excellent in heavy rain). Also have a set of snow tires, so mileage gets spread out between the two sets.
Other than the two rear plastic "bolts" that hold the back of the under-engine cover falling out somewhere, I've not had any issues with the car. Mileage by my own calculations (the dash number runs high) is ~38-39, for a mix of highway and rural driving (limited city miles).
I'm still very happy with the car, and look for opportunities to drive it.

Wow! My wife and I are picking up our manual EX Fit the end of this week. Glad to know with 21k and 30k under your belts you have had no real issues. Well aside from furry problems that cannot be blamed on Honda.
I am sure there is a thread for it, but Stembridge, did you replace the plastic "bolts" with real bolts, or is there another simple fix for that problem?
Thank you and enjoy the road.

When you change your oil do you use ramps or can you fit underneath. I'm going to be due for my first oil change soon and am contemplating doing it myself, except the dealer will do it for $26, which may be a price I can't pass up, especially if I have to buy (or make) ramps.

@GoBucky Mileage is due to our crazy life. It will slow down now.
I do use ramps to work under the car and it is still a tight squeeze for me at 125 pounds.
That dealer price is less than I pay for the filter/oil (Mobil 1 for both) I'd go for it.

At 63, I'm still a relatively slender 155 pounds, but there's no way I can "fit" under the car without ramps. I can just about fit my head under the front air dam if I turn it sideways (my head, that is), but that's about it.
You WILL need ramps, unless you're a Leprechaun.
