^^EXACTLY!!! One of the reasons why I got it. Was thinking of resale value, how people would think of this dude driving a small yellow Fit.

But life's too short! Live a little! Even my wife was like Who is this guy this guy that I married? I'm glad I did it now and never looked back.

And again....buy the red. The less yellows purchased and that I see, the happier I'll be.

LOL. Since I'm in Colorado and you are in Delaware I doubt our yellow Fits will cross paths.

Of course, you telling me to buy the red just makes me want the yellow more.

Not being able to see a yellow Fit before buying, I went with white.

I finally found some Fits in yellow and showed my brother a picture. For the record, he likes yellow cars, and painted his '87 Fiero GT in Dodge Viper yellow. He took one look at the yellow fit and said, "It looks like a marshmallow Peep!"

Maybe white wasn't such a bad choice after all.

Yeah, I can see that. The peepishness doesn't really bother me, though. Maybe if I buy the yellow one I will put a duck decal on it and name it Peep.

Yeah, it looks horrible! Go for the red. You can't loose with that color.

You can't fool me that easily! I've seen it in person and know that it isn't really highlighter yellow! LOL

I admit, this picture is indeed too optimistic. The real color is much more pale and subdued. Basically this, only after being parked under California sun in the desert for 20 yrs.

Every day life yellow. Here is my yellow Fit the day it reached 5,000 miles (06/20/2015). It's dirty, but it still looks good to me.

And here it is in its first or second week (January 2015).

My post is all my opinion. So please do not take offense if I say anything bad about colors anyone likes...

I have the passion berry purple. When clean it is absolutely beautiful. When dirty...absolutely beautiful. When in bright, dim, dark...doesn't matter the light its a beautiful car.

An awful lot of other colors are beautiful when the Fit is clean and in the right light (some I just don't like). But some colors when the car is dirty...not a fan at all. Some just don't look as beautiful in one kind of lighting as others (again IMO).

White and red Fits, especially with tinted windows, might be the best looking Fit there is (might edge out my purple Fit). But when dirty? IMO their beauty plummets. They're just not the same car when dirty. Its really a shame. But damn they're beautiful when clean.

The yellow Fit? I've never seen the gen 3 in yellow in the wild. In pictures it "can" be absolutely beautiful like the white and red Fits. But.....catch the yellow Fit in the wrong lighting and it just isn't the same car. At the auto show they had a yellow and purple Fit. It was here I made up my mind about to get the purple fit (very happy with it). The yellow Fit was beautiful until I saw it from a different angle. From some viewpoints it looked so drab and boring. While other views it was stunning. Really a shame IMO.

Now as I said this is all my opinion and I know a lot would not agree with me. I mean my least favorite color for a car is silver but it is among the popular colors. So obviously I am in the minority.

The most important thing is...what color do you like best for the Fit? Get that one

Just the other day I saw a yellow Fit on the road. Didn't like it but that's just me. But, I think if the yellow had some black molding of some sort added to it, then that to me can make a huge difference.

About standing out, I used to think bright cars stood out and got more tickets but I think I read a study that showed gray cars got the most. Anyway, even a yellow Fit is better looking than most cars. Remember too, my gun metal gray Fit which I love is called boring to my wife.

I got the yellow - part of why I chose my dealer was because they had yellow in stock. I'm in an MLS program, so I immediately got some Bat decals from ebay (Batgirl's a librarian) -- I'll post pictures later. I've heard red cars get noticed more for speeding tickets, and if the purple were bolder, I would have considered that. I'm 40, and this is the first car I've 100% chosen for myself, and part of that was style/color.

Looking forward to your pics! I should be buying the car this week, and am still leaning toward yellow

I'm sorry, but I have no clue. It's what the dealer gave me, so I assume it's the Florida max.
