Currently waiting to hear back from the dealership on an OTD quote on the yellow one, along with what they can do for financing. I already have financing approved, but want to see if they can do better.

I'm hoping to be able to go pick up a new yellow Fit this afternoon!

Me too! I am super jazzed (get it? I'll show myself out.)

Came home and promptly ordered Aries 3D floor liners, Clazzio all PVC seat covers with Black outer, Ivory insert, and Ivory stitching, and a Wheelskins EuroPerf steering wheel cover in Black and Sand.

Man, I spent a lot of money today!

Congrats! As long as you're happy, you made the right choice. And after owning a yellow car personally, I think you're gonna love it!

When I first looked at the Modern Steel I thought if you put on Mercedes-Benz emblems folks would be asking if it cost less than $50,000.00. ..It's a classic color that looks rich if it's detailed well. I am so happy with Passion Berry Pearl as it fits the Fit very well. Classy but fun. Picking the right tint color on mine will make or break the look I'm going for but with yellow all dark tints look great. It was easy for me to pick PBP..... I loved it!

I wanted yellow when I bought mine. Good thing they had none in stock. Finally saw one, and it looked like baby poop to me. Not really yellow...sort of greenish yellow. Bought silver and am totally happy. Red would be goo too.

Just curious, I had a small truck when young that I painted Chrysler Corona Yellow, as bright if not brighter than the FIT pictures. I got pulled over more times than I can count. had a box with over 50 "warning" tickets.. Now you'd think speeding etc, but the truck was a Nissan L320. 1200 CC pickup with 60HP. On level ground it would do 65 after minutes of acceleration. It had a 4.86 rear end.. I got 3 warnings for driving too slow in it..

So do you think the yellow attracts officer interest?

[QUOTE=frazzledglispa;1309852]

My fear is that a year from now I will look at the yellow and say - wtf was I thinking buying a yellow car!

__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _______

I had a "Liquid Yellow" Mini-Cooper with black roof for 10+ years and simply loved it - no regrets. Mini's "Liquid Yellow" is the best yellow car paint color I've seen - their later yellows look awful - like mustard, IMHO.

Back in the '60's I had a white "Classic" Mini with black roof. The black paint was fine but the white "chalked" so I sprayed the body with Rustoleum Yellow - yes, a couple of cans of Rustoleum!

Looked great from 15 feet away & the color was awesome.

Got the red 2015 Fit "for a change" but sort of miss the yellow.
