The 2016 FIT has finally arrived in the US!!! Yaaay!

Here is the link:

I have to purchase my new FIT soon.
Does anyone know the difference between the 2015 and 2016 FIT?

Literally no difference except a slightly higher price point.

So far there is no difference except being more expensive. There is some hope maybe there will be Android Auto/Carplay support, Honda is sure taking their time announcing it.

When the 2016 Fit was announced July 4th weekend, I have kept on the lookout for new ones around me (via cars.com). They have not sold 1 new car in a 150 mile radius of Philadelphia.

Wait maybe they upgraded the USB ports </sarcasm>

From what I've heard, the 2016's won't be showing up until October. I see no difference at all except price. Not that I was expecting any. The Fit was entirely redesigned for '15 and the days of the "annual model changeover" are long behind us.

If you look at many dealer's inventory right about now you will see a small number of '16 Fits in transit--not sure any of them have arrived yet but it would seem imminent. So I would consider whatever you heard suspect.

I agree they didn't make any changes that they want to brag about. I'm confident from long experience with Honda that they did make minor parts/materials/process changes and I'd bet the firmware is not the same in at least some of the programmable devices. The days of continuous improvement driven by feedback from production, quality, warranty, and other field experience are very much with us and Honda is very big on this. And the line break for introducing the HR-V made a great place to do it with a clean cutover to '16 Fit production.

I have made contact with five Honda dealers about 2016 Fits. I have heard different forecasts from each of them. Their range is three weeks to three months. I hope one calls sooner than later.

At least in my area, all that's left are 6-speed manuals and the dealers were not luring us with discounts.

When I bought my 2015 Fit the dealer said the 2016 would not be in until Fall. That was 2 weeks ago. I live in Western New York.

No deals being offered on 2015 here in Orlando and not many left on lots. I'm going to wait for 2016.

I was hoping if no changes they'd atleast offer more exterior accessories like a front lip and sided skirts.

Just purchased yesterday a 2016 ex cvt in blue. Paid 500 off msrp and received additional 500 recent college grad. Illinois. They are out there already, but the 16 go fast since there wasn't much increase in price and supply is low here, especially if you are looking for a color other than white or silver.

18820 (500 under msrp)
193 doc and electronic filling
1188 tax, illinois
120 title/plates
Subtract 500 for college grad
That's everything. Had no trade, sold old car locally. Didn't purchase any add ons.
