I took a look at the new optional mags but not much else is new. In a way I'm glad there is little changed from 2015 because I considered waiting for the new model. Is there any new colors?

Hi Bossharp!

There are no new colors unfortunately. I was wondering if there is any big difference between the 2015 and the 2016 models.

Are the magic seats the same? If you look at the interior tour you will see that the seats go up and down. Is that the same on the 2015?

Does anyone else happen to know what the differences between the two are? I am haven't purchased my FIT yet and wanted to know.

Some of the 2016 Fits will be made in Japan rather than Mexico.

Can't comment on the magic seats on the 2015 vs 2016 as I have a 2012 Fit. But I love the magic seat versatility on how it flips up. Recently, put a fold up type wheel chair in, no problem. Then helped move a bicycle. Had to remove the front wheel, but still handy.

I've been asking myself why other car companies don't copy/imitate the magic seat of the Fit. For me, that function was the deal breaker why I chose the Fit over the competitors.

The big difference and most important is the fit will also be made in Japan. I would only buy the one built in Japan. This was the main reason i had my dealer look hard and fast feb of 2014 for a 2013 Sport navi. Honda's built in japan are solid. The only example i can give is this. Back in 04 i had my mom get the then brand new TSX which is a jap/euro accord. if you drove the TSX and 04 Accord back2back, the TSX was so solid as if it were chiseled from a single block of aluminum. Thats how the 13' fit to 15' feels to me. The 3rd gen just doesnt feel as solid/well put together as 12-13. But im just one person.

Wow, that rust is giving me nightmares already.
reminds me of an old Mazda truck I used to work on and every job I ever did on it resulted in a rounded off brake line within the first 10 minutes
