Ontario fit's, better than msrp?
Ontario fit's, better than msrp?
We plan to purchase an EX-6MT this Fall, most likely a 2016. When we looked at and test drove in June we were given a price quote, MSRP. We weren't ready to buy then so I didn't enter into a discussion about price.
So has anyone purchased below MSRP?
I'd like some background info if the salesman gives me a stock answer such as "Due to the popularity of the Fit, most dealerships are above MSRP, so this is a really good deal!".
Thanks.

We're also in the market for a 2016 DX 6MT. I have not seen any dealer incentives when we looked in April, and there are none today. We've tried unhaggle.com and got some better pricing info for the Fit. you might try that.
As for getting the Fit for less than MSRP, I'm not sure. There's nothing from Honda, and I don't think there's much extra fat to cut. Of course I'd like a sub-MSRP.
There are few 2015 MTs left in Ontario, so not much incentive to buy the older model. Pity. The 2015s and 2016s should be near identical. Maybe some upgraded trim.

Did you actually pay the unhaggle fee and get a real quote? I am fine paying MSRP if that is more or less standard. I feel comfortable with the way the dealership has treated me since I bought my Ridgeline, I'll continue with them for service regardless.
UnhaggleI did not pay the unhaggle fee. I just received the free stuff. When you pay the unhaggle fee you can get up to 6 dealers bidding for your business, but we're not at that stage yet. I'm unsure, with the Fit's lwo margin, if there will be much of a difference in price.e
Unhanggle's price was $14,470 for the DX. The average price was $14,575, with cost being $13,846
