This morning I noticed that the "Starter System" warning light was lit. It stayed on after starting a second time. No other problems. I'll reset it tomorrow and see what happens.

 

I had the same thing happen to me about 2 months after buying. Starter System light just came on one day and wouldn't go away. Car acted fine.

Took it to the dealer and they said a fuse was missing from my car. They put the fuse it and that was that. The tech said there was an "unofficial TSB" (I know what a TSB is, but I've never heard of an unofficial TSB. Whatever, those were her words) that some early production 2015 Fits were shipped missing that fuse. Apparently mine was one of them.

Mine was built in March 2014.

I put two 7.5A fuses into slots where they maybe should have been. Then I connected my OBD tool, but it didn't find any stored error codes. When I started the car, the light went out. I drove seven miles, parked it for a couple of hours, and drove home - with the Starter System light on the whole time. I don't know why it went out, but I'm not going to bother with the OBD again.

The picture below from the black Fit shows my son's stock fuse block. The silver one is mine. I'm going to move that 7.5A up one row and see if that helps. I'd like to hear where others have their 7.5A fuses.

Problem Solved! If you look at the two 7.5A fuses in the left side of the top row on the black Fit, you will see another 7.5A fuse above them. That's the one you need to keep that warning light turned off. I may have removed it, thinking it was a spare to replace a blown 7.5A fuse. I put a fuse in there, and the car's back to normal.

 

Good detective work SilverEX15. It must be nice to have a "spare" Fit lying around to make these kind of comparisons.
