Recall after recall and now the hinges on my rear door have gone bad. Suspicions confirmed, atleast for me, that Japenese quality is lacking in the Mexican made 3rd gen.

A snapping sound is heard from the hinges while driving and opening and closing the rear door. My dealership has to send it to a body shop to install the new hinges. Seems to me the hinges were over torqued during manufacture. I'm tired of being at the dealership to get work done. Plus I have sagging front bumper.

Recall after recall? I know of 3, possibly 4, none of which involved my 2015 EX. The quality of the hatch interior floor is questionable, but the recalls I've seen for the Fit specifically were voluntary and AFAIK, no serious injuries or deaths involved. Obviously, as a 2015 fit, it was assembled in Mexico.

Just my two cents

I've had no recalls and no issues.

Best car I've ever had. And, everyone who I've driven around has enjoyed it as well.

Honda just totally nailed it.
