Cool BubbleBee vs. Sierra Mountains

I went on almost 800 miles trips to two different camps as a cabin staff.

BubbleBee loved those twists in the mountains, even with cruise control, it stay at the speed no matter how steep it had to climb! I even noticed that the CVT increased the engine braking if the speed increase downhill, but I even helped with engine braking by using the paddles.

Overall, for almost 800 miles, BubbleBee got 43 MPG. Not bad!

Drove up I-5 from San Jose to Red Bluff. Got gas, went to campsite on the south shore of Eagle Lake (North of Susanville).

Drove down to Carson City on HWY 395, got gas. Then got on HWY 88 toward HWY 26 for next campsite.

Drown down HWY 26 to HWY 88 for Stockton, then drove all the way to San Jose. Haven't filled up gas yet.

I did a road trip in June to Yosemite and Mono Lake on some of those same roads and had a blast on the twists and turns. Also CVT with cruise on and it kept right to speed.

We've taken our purple people mover (EX-L in passion berry pearl) up The Hill several times and it's done great! 80 from Sacramento to Reno is no problem and 50 to South Lake Tahoe is downright fun as long as the traffic is light. I mostly use CC, but it's always fun to drop into S mode and punch it around the twisties! We even had to take some dirt roads near Soda Springs and the Fit had no issues.
