I walked into a local Honda dealer yesterday to try in vain to scout out a new Fit. They only had two 2015 manuals, and nothing on their incoming radar or other dealers. They had just got in 3 new LX, HRV's. They did try their best to sell me one. I admit, I was a little tempted. They offered it to me out the door for $22,000. I felt that was a good price. But I want a Fit. If not I will buy the Nissan Versa instead.

I feel like the Fit population around me has been exploding since I got mine. I drive around the biggest mall in my state which has an adjacent Honda dealer but the first 2015 Fit I ever saw was the one I bought in March- I see plenty of HRV's as well now. The dealer here seems to have a dozen or so of both, but I don't think any EX-L's at all

I've only seen 2x 2015 Fits with OEM window deflectors, and only one other Tinted (and none with both other than mine). but I've noticed just about anyone driving a '15 stares at mine

I haven't had any real issues with mine in a little over 10k, just happy I don't have to worry about the Hood paint chipping now since the collision place laid down a much better clear coat. Seatbelt latches are reversed though for mine.

Just looked through the complaints on the nhtsa site and am surprised some people complain about the seats, they're much better than my Wife's Camry with Leather, which I have to push myself up the seat so my rear isn't touching it because of pain after about 2hrs- the Fit is fine for me until about 5hrs

I promised a friend that I would consider the Ford Fiesta. At the dealership today, supposedly the second largest in Canada, they had no Fiestas on the floor, no brochures, and no, I could not get a test drive as everyone was too busy. They did have one that was near shrink wrapped that I could look at. The reviews say that the Fiesta drives better than the Fit, but the interior is quite a disappointment compared to the Fit. The seats do not even attempt to lay flat. Sight lines out the back are quite good. And you thought the Fit radio was bad, consider the Fiesta radio. No, I think I'll pass.

Next was the Mazda dealership. Mazda has discontinued the Mazda2, so there is really no car to compare to the Fit. The Mazda3, which can go upwards of $31k before tax, is huge, and probably competes with the Civic or the Accord. I could see the better interior than the Fit but for much more cash, larger engine and worse fuel economy. Yes, the performance is much better. They had a few used Mazda2s but only in auto. Again, comparing to the Fit I was very disappointed. Again, the seats do not lie flat, not even close to flat. Both the Mazda3 and Mazda2 have aux and USB ports.

I'll need to be more patient with Honda...
