I recently installed illuminated floorboards and ambient lighting all OEM. After the install my smart key will not work and it gives the smart key indicator on the dashboard. I didn't change anything I'm not really sure what happened. Does anyone know where the module is located? I can still start the vehicle by holding the fob next to the star Button.

Also, the lock and unlock functions work on the remote. Just the smart doorhandles and push to start in SmartMode do not work. Maybe there's a way to reset this?

For anyone who's interested, when you take out your center console (where the usb and hdmi plugs are ) there is a smal black box that has a small plug on it. This is the smart key receiver. (Left it unplugged, oops)

This fixed the problem.

yep that is exactly what I did wrong.
plug in the module and keys, remote access and starter working as normal
