What did you get for Christmas for your Fit?

My wife bought me a Rexing V1 dash cam (
Amazon.com : Rexing V1 2.7" LCD FHD 1080p 170° Wide Angle Dashboard Camera Recorder Car Dash Cam with G-Sensor, WDR, Night Vision, Motion Detection : Electronics Amazon.com : Rexing V1 2.7" LCD FHD 1080p 170° Wide Angle Dashboard Camera Recorder Car Dash Cam with G-Sensor, WDR, Night Vision, Motion Detection : Electronics
). I've been using it for the past few days and so far I like it.

It comes with a very long 12v adapter so I was able to tuck it into the center console, down the center console, behind the glove box, up the weather stripping on the passenger side and behind the headliner. The daytime video is very clear, but night time could be better or I guess I have an excuse to get brighter headlight bulbs If you're in a well lit area, night time isn't too bad but get on some back roads where you're only relying on your headlights and it's a little dark. Don't get me wrong, if it's in the roadway you can see the lines and signs but the shoulders are very dark. If it's raining, it gets even worse.

Also I'm getting some glare from the dashboard, the area where the dashboard meets the windshield is visible as glare. I'll have to see if I can do something about it.

Anyways, what did you get for the Fit or other car related gifts?

My wife got me an OEM cargo net and car cover.

Cargo net is awesome. Easy install and it seems decent quality. Keeps my first aid kit and window shades from sliding around in my hatch. Car cover would have been super handy today since we are in a blizzard, but I'm having a trim piece replaced this morning.

It was a good Christmas for my 2015 Fit EX-L. It got six items.

Noggle - tube that attaches to A/C vent to redirect air to rear seat passengers, for my toddler stuck in the baby seat. I got the six footer but it is barely long enough. I probably should have gotten the eight footer. It works pretty well, the air flow is decent.

Phone mount - iOttie Easy One Touch 2 - this mount sticks nicely on the flat part of the dash above the CD player, and holds the phone vertically which is great for Google Maps. It lets you attach and release the phone with one hand. Great deal for $20.

Blue interior footwell lights - I powered them with an add-a-circuit and they stay on while driving. I'm going to change this to only come on with the dome lights, then add a switch next to the stability control switch that allows me to turn them on whenever.

I just ordered this rocker switch. It looks like the correct size.
Amazon.com: Mictuning 20A 12V ON/OFF Laser Rocker Switch 5Pin (SPST) with Jumper Wire Blue LED LIGHT BAR: Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com: Mictuning 20A 12V ON/OFF Laser Rocker Switch 5Pin (SPST) with Jumper Wire Blue LED LIGHT BAR: Sports & Outdoors

Sun shade sock - black netting that slides over the top half of the door to block sun from shining in the baby's eyes. Sort of awkward but they were cheap.

Cable clips - adhesive plastic hooks to keep my phone cables from dangling in front of the touchscreen. Otherwise the cable can contact the touchscreen which presses buttons and messes up my music.

Leather gloves - I'll use them for driving since the steering wheel can be cold in winter. Not this winter though, it was around 70 degrees on Christmas here in Washington, D.C. And they are touch screen compatible with thumb, index and middle finger.

My wish list also had a jump starter and an Automatic telematics tracker but they were expensive so no one bought them for me.

I'll post some pictures later.

Sadly I did not get anything for our Fit this year, but my wife did buy me flush mounted LED flood lights to install in the bumper of my F150. The stock reverse lights put out about as much light as my sons toy lightsaber. These new ones should provide more illumination than my headlights!

I get 90097 QuickSlide Elite Wheel Alignment tools from Quicktrickalignment.com

http://www.quicktrickalignment.com/s...slide/totalqs/

this way I can do the alignment myself...
only need to buy the sliding plate now...

Oh I also buy another pair of 15mm H&R Spacer for my rear wheel on
and epoxy to seal my Mugen Air Box Carbon Fiber that I grind (per Ryu recommendation, Thanks Ryu) on eBay,

and last, I buy
PIAA 15224 H4 Style Xtreme White 12V 60/55=110/100-Watt Bulb - Twin Pack at Amazon
Amazon.com: PIAA 15224 H4 Style Xtreme White 12V 60/55=110/100-Watt Bulb - Twin Pack: Automotive Amazon.com: PIAA 15224 H4 Style Xtreme White 12V 60/55=110/100-Watt Bulb - Twin Pack: Automotive

oh wait, I also find an anodizing shop today to anodize my custom rotor hat and brake caliper bracket with Type III Hard Anodizing.

Would like to see a review on the Ultra-Guage Blue when you get a chance. I'm on the fence on gettting the Blue or regular UG. At this point, I have a lot of screens going with my cell phone, Garmin, dash cam (I have this turn off after 3 minutes) and headunit. I don't know if I'd want my phone screen all the time running the gauges though. With the sale they're currently running, the Blue is the same price as the normal UG

I was looking at getting the Nightechs (
Amazon.com: PIAA 10704 Night Tech 60/55 Watt H4 Upgrade Bulb - Pair: Automotive Amazon.com: PIAA 10704 Night Tech 60/55 Watt H4 Upgrade Bulb - Pair: Automotive
) but those Xtreme White plus look whiter and are cheaper. Thanks for the tip!

I looked that Noggle up, interesting item. I found that changing to face/foot redirected cool air to those vents under the seat and provided the rear passengers with sufficient cooling at level 2 fan.

Now this looks like a cool idea (pardon the pun). Our Fit is really the dog car for our two retired racing greyhounds. Even with the AC cranked on a hot day they're a tad warm. I tinted the rear windows (only rear are legal in NH) which helps, but this seems like a great idea.

The Fit got a new SnoBrum and Wether Tech liners for the front.

So after I got the Noggle, I was installing blue LED bars under all four seats, and I noticed for the first time that there are AC vents under the front seats for the rear passengers. I had no idea they were there even though I've owned this car for 1.5 years. I tested the fan settings and they come on during the same times that the front feet vents come on.

I think I'll still try to use the Noggle if there is no front passenger to be annoyed by a tube running along the door. The rear-facing babyseat insulates the kid pretty well that I don't think they would feel the air vents under the seats.

Without the Noggle I would cool the kid by switching the fan to front vents only, closing my driver side vent, then pointing the other three front vents at the top of the baby seat behind the passenger. That is more effective at cooling the kid than using the Noggle but then I don't have any vents and the front passenger is getting blasted so this can only be done with no front passenger. The kid is old enough that she can hold the end of the Noggle and choose whether to point it at herself or not. She is still too young to articulate her temperature needs.

Why not connect that noggle to the bottom vent under the seat versus the front vents?

The Noggle comes with two attachments for connecting to a square or circular vent, but the under seat vents are a weird skinny shape so the Noggle won't attach. I Google'd for a picture to show you and I found it on this very forum, illustrating a mod where somebody routed the air vents using tubing to make air conditioned front seats. Maybe I should just use my own tubing to do something similar.

I kinda went all out for my Fit this Christmas

For the exterior, I removed the chrome garnish from my EX and added the black garnish from the LX.

I also put together my own version of a "road survivor" kit.

From left to right it includes:
Umbrella, Neck Pillow, Plastic Trim Tools, Grip Gloves,
Window Cleaner, LED Light, Jump Starter/Air Compressor/Backup Power,
Reusable Bags, Detailing Spray, and Microfiber Cloths.

You guys have some cool wives. I didn't get anything for the car but I did get a much needed floor standing tool chest. Now I can organize my tools for faster installs.
