While driving home today I glanced at my touch screen. It said I had no phone connected and asked me if I wanted to connect one.

Is my FIT just trying to be helpful?

Yep. Mine does the same thing.

 

Ah, that's why the salesman was so anxious to help me pair my phone after I bought my LX!

That said, the hands-free feature is the easiest one I've encountered and the voice recognition works seamlessly.

 

Haha. Sometimes my screen mentions that so and so function can't be performed while the car is moving because it's dangerous. It will write that at random times while I'm not even interacting with it. I wish I only had a decent sound system like the old days. I don't need all that technological crap that goes weird on me.
