Child seat latch corrosion?

Child seat latch corrosion?
The fit has these loops on the rear seat for car seats. They list them as: Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren. I noticed on mine, they ones on the back of the rear seats seem to have some discoloration. Anyone else experiencing this?
My wife is due with our first child and I just mounted the childseat in her vehicle so I looked on mine. This has me a little concerned if this is a structural anchor. I've never had anything hooked onto it, so they aren't scratches.

At least from the picture, that doesn't look worrisome to me, just some slight surface discoloration and maybe a tiny bit of pitting or plating coming off. It looks fine structurally. I'm not sure I'd be to pleased with the fact that it's not holding up cosmetically, but that's not a safety issue.

Seems these Mexican built Fits gave no end of problems. If Honda won't do anything, file a complaint with the NHTSB. There should be NO corrosion in these anchors. Any corrosion weakens them. Anything else as an answer is a cop-out, and a safety risk.

Found that vid and at 2:59, they show the rear latches and it appears to be the same discoloration.

None on mine that I've noticed. That looks like oxidation of the zinc or cadmium plating. If it were mine, I'd rub it down with a rag dampened with a bit of oil. That would clean up any loose oxidation and help keep it from reappearing.

My concern is that if I do anything, that I may not be covered for any warranty support. I think I'm going to have the dealership just check it out just to have a paper trail on it. If it comes up later after warranty (@ 23k miles now), that I at least have a record of bringing it in.
No I don't live near the ocean, closest big body of water would be the Potomac River and that's fresh maybe brackish at most. Even then it's about 50 miles away.

I looked at these locations on my new 2016 LX and didn't see anything unusual. But I don't use the feature either. So I rubbed on them with a fingernail and now I see what you are seeing.
It isn't corrosion. It's a flat black paint or film coming off, leaving the shinier base finished metal below now visible.
