2015 obd port location

I have searched the threads on here that show the location however I don't see it there. Is there a cover that needs to come off or is it between that cover and the center piece where the shift lever is located? TIA.

OBD port

Located on top, beside the left of the center console above the accelerator pedal. Have an UltraGauge connected there.

Under the dash, near the area between dash and center console, forward of your right knee when sitting in the seat.

Well hidden, isn't? No mention is the normally furnished handbooks. That's why I'd like to have a shop manual, not to do even minor repairs, but to find those hidden features and ports.

Now comes the stupid questions. Most of the OBD plug ins are Bluetooth, right? Some have separate displays with wires and others display on smartphones. I hate dangling wires and I don't want more than I already have (Garman GPS residing in console cup holder). Will the iPhone 6 do the job? Too bad that 7" Infotainment screen won't do the job.

Get your head under the dash and use a flashlight, or get a mirror and a flashlight.
I know what the OBD2 plug looks and feels like, I usually just fumble and grope around until I feel/find it.

Samsung S4 certainly does the job, I would expect no different from an iPhone. I got the Ultra-Gauge Blue a few months ago and mere words could never convey how cool this thing is. It was a bit pricey (they had a sale for a while, might still be going on) but it's worth it. Some on this forum use the wired version, haven't read a lot about the Blue on here. Most use it to track mpg driving habits but it can do a lot more. Real friendly company too, I've found a few problems (some typos once, another time app kept crashing trying to graph out RPMs) and brought it to their attention; problem was fixed and app updated within a few days.
