Husky Weatherbeaters - Stands behind their warranty

So I bought a set of Husky Weatherbeaters as the first upgrade for my Fit last year. After a while I noticed some negatives and I finally got around to contacting them.

I noticed the front passenger started to warp around the footwell, near the seat. Also it would slip when someone would get in and out of the vehicle

The front drivers side also warped at the same location. What was worse, it started to warp near the gas pedal:

I contacted Husky and traded emails with them for about a month. They asked for some pictures and I explained what was going on with them. This week I received the replacement set they sent. So far so good, but I haven't used them a whole lot. I have to say they stood behind their warranty.

So far so good for durability, my Husky's have withstood a Canadian winter.

I do, however, take exception to the front/rear ribbing pattern. This makes it slippery to enter and exit the car, providing limited grip for the driver. Boots slip due to no grip on the ribs. Due to this design flaw I would not recommend them.

 

I didn't have any issue with the grip myself, but YMMV.

 

I've read about people using a heat gun or even a blow dryer to reshape them too. I have WeatherTechs (wanted Husky but long story) with a very slight pucker in the front by the seat but nothing serious yet.

 

If they had not replaced them, that was the next step. I didn't want to try to fix them and then they say sorry, you modified them you're out of luck.
