Thumbs up Great comparison test Honda Jazz/VW Polo

I love the LED headlights and updated grill from the New grill from Civic/Accord. I drive a 2nd gen but you guys may like to look at it.

Enjoy...

cost of ownership

Thanks for the link. They cite 3 yr ownership costs which is useful but hides the costs of DSG ownership. Every 40K, they need a fluid change which the dealers around here charge $500+ (it's more involved than a standard change requiring a vacuum setup that the Fit, for instance, doesn't need. It's more complicated to DIY and hence harder to avoid the cost).

Plus DSG replacement cost if a major issue occurs is much more expensive... there are accounts of prices being in the $5-8K range.

In general, it seemed to me that if one plans on keeping a car for a short duration, VWs + DSG are ok. But as far as I can tell, long term ownership costs are a notch higher for DSG. And if anything major happens, forget it.
