Upper/Lower Grill Protector - Cloud-Rider brand

Opinions on this design and function:

I spotted a Civic with a different grill on the weekend, looked at the brand and it was Cloud-Rider. Here is one of the four grill protectors offered:

I don't really like the look. Some people around here do their own DIY grille. Especially for that much money!!

I believe those prices are in Canadian money, so the cost is a lot less if you were thinking in USA funds.

If only they had blacked out the design, more stealth and far less bling.

Not much one can do with the design, a tad too truck-like for my tastes. Too bad they could have really done something fine for the effort.

Post I like it...

I like how the black powder coated grill looks, but for $244 CAD? I'm sure there has to be a better and economical option.

I'm sure they work quite well since a lot of the apps they have are for heavy duty towing trucks.

What does it really look like on a car tho, car's don't have a white background. I dunno why anyone would get teh powdercoated ones. you could have the stainless ones powdercoated for way less. The breeze mesh in black actually would look good on a car, and probably save a few radiators. Way too much $$$ for a grille tho.
