Mpg results at various hwy speeds

Driving with no a/c, tires bumped up to 35 psi, ECON and cruise control engaged:

59 mph (53.1 mpg on info display - 53.4 actual)

61 mph (52.6 display - 52.2 actual)

64 mph (48.2 display - 48.0 actual)

67 mph (45.7 display - 44.1 actual)

Sorry, no pic, forgot to save pic in phone

72 mph (42.9 display - 42.2 actual)

I'm wonder if you drove 75+ you'd be below 40 mpg? I'd guess yes. Maybe someone else here could give it a try and see. I don't like to drive above 75 for long stretches. 72 is my sweet spot for hwy driving.

Also, actual and display results seem to be more in line with each other when ECON and CC are engaged. I've had greater mpg fluctuations when they aren't used, sometimes as much as a 3 mpg difference.

I also have a 2016 Blue LX with CVT. The last trip I made was 380 miles each way. I had the cruise set at 75 and the AC was on for the whole trip. I averaged 40.6 mpg measured for the trip. I don't remember what the display showed but the last time I checked it was optimistic by about 2mpg

I know I have posted details about this on this forum so I'll summarize here.

2016 Fit LX CVT, econ on, 35 psi stock Firestone tires, A/C use perhaps 50% of the trip each way, mostly done with CC engaged. 2 x 275 mile, 99.5% freeway trip with not many hills (I94 central Wisconsin). I am also very easy on acceleration and tend to let the car slow down on its own when I think I may need to slow down rather than brake.

Most of the outward trip done at 65 mph except 40 miles at 55 mph: 54 mpg (display).

Most of the return trip done at 70 mph except 40 miles at 55 mph: 48 mpg (display). Possibly a bit more headwind on return trip.

Display mpg is 0.2 mpg better than calculated.

Just kidding, but every little bit helps.

I usually don't over inflate because it seems like I feel more imperfections in the road, too stiff. Seems smoother at a little under. I could see it improving performance, but I'm more of a cruiser than an aggressive driver.
