we rarely get the same look here in the USDM, so not sure if it even applies to us.

I hope it's not a refreshed version of the current generation Fit. It's unappealing.

If it was a refresh, it would be on the official Honda Japan website which I just visited and couldn't find any pics about the 2017. Perhaps it is a modded version of the GK.

Good point. With the Fit being a global vehicle, you'd think news/photos of any significant updates would be readily available. At first glance, I wrote it off as a modified Fit.

The 2017s are already at Honda.com. I can't tell any difference.

Choose the Honda Fit or Honda Fit EV - Official Site

Starting July 2015 a Pre-Owned Fit EV can be leased, two years at $199 per month while supplies last.
Click on the link and interestingly these EVs are 2014 models. Was an EV model available in the US in 2014? You can only lease them.

The one on the right might be, the one on the left has about 2" clearance under its front lip!

I really don't like it either BUT the grill and lights are VERY Civic-like and notice the hood lines are different and line up perfectly with the grill shape compared to it's blue brother.
I was really just hoping we'd get the JDM headlights, side skirts and more aggressive hatch spoiler... this is too busy!
I'm waiting for the refresh, but if we're getting this- I'll be buying a '17 rather than an '18!

It's basically a hybrid fit with an extended rear.
