I recently lost one of my hubcaps and as I check online for a replacement I notice there are 2 different part #'s and 2 different prices for the same hubcap (#8). I called the parts department at the dealer and by way of the VIN number, he quoted the more expensive 44733-TAR-G01 ($98). He said he wasn't sure if the cheaper 44733-T5R-A01 ($28) would fit. So I took a chance and ordered the cheaper hubcap and lo and behold it fits perfectly!
I've seen this before on other parts where there are 2 different part numbers for the same part but with wildly different prices. Maybe my Japan built Fit earns the more expense price for some reason and non-Japan built Fits default to the lower price.
Anyway, if you need to replace one of your hubcaps (LX models), feel free to order the cheaper one. It works just fine.
I felt free to replace the whole factory set with a charcoal gray colored generic set for, like, maybe $24 for all 4...look better, in my eyes, than the factory. Might go with full moon covers when I upgrade tires down the road....but...that's a few years off
ben-good find! i remember waaay back when when i had to get replacement factory wheel covers for my civic it was like $35 each. considering that was 3 decades ago im surprised to hear u can still buy factory covers for only $28 each! super economical!

With free shipping it ended up being $34 from Amazon. Still not bad.

For some reason it never occurred to me to go after-market. Maybe the car is too new for my brain to contemplate going after-market just yet. If I lose or damage another one, I think I'll go that route. I could sell the remaining 3 real cheap here to help those FitFreakers who still want OEM hubcaps.

Thought about that here...I have 3 stock wheelcovers in good condition, one is cracked....I replaced them with these ... look better on my black Fit than the factory covers....
Nice! That's gotta look good on a black Fit. Do you have a pic with them on your car?
Unfortunately, no.....it's "interesting" that I'm a member of a couple of car forums, and a few guitar forums ...I have no pics of my car, and damn few of my (6) guitars....LOL ... Here's my Wildkat, in case anybody wants to see....Sweetwater is a great co. to deal with, posts pics of the guitars yer looking for, and this was the one
Hey, Epi makes great guitars at all price points....same with Squier...this is the golden age to be a guitarist on a budget - trust me, been playing for, oh, 50 years
