New Shifter Boot and Knob

Last night I spent about 3~4 hrs on changing my shifter boot, collar, and knob. I purchased a new boot and knob from Password JDM and the a threaded collar from Strut King, links below.

Strut King Collar

PasswordJDM Aluminum Shift Knob Shift Boot Combo

Password Jdm shifter boot and knob, Strut King threaded collar

Inside the Password JDM boot

Password JDM uses this collar.

New collar installed in boot

The underside of center console

Six screws release the boot assembly

Nine staples hold the boot on the bezel

After 1.5 hrs the new boot is installed with the factory staples

Underside with new boot and collar

Installed

Looks a little shorter from the side
