GK5 turbo?

I've been really curious in doing a trubo GK5 with the stock turbo off a 10th gen Honda Civic.. I know the new Civic touring comes with a 1.5L motor turboed which is the L15B7 turbo. Has anybody done this or made this a project yet? Just wondering what is everything I would need. I found some OEM Honda turbos for sale already.
The GK5 comes with the L15B1.

I thought that the Civic Turbo would be a direct swap, but the turbo is on the wrong side (front) of the intake. Probably wouldn't fit (pun) under the short hood and no room next to the firewall.

The stock rods won't hold more than 50 hp extra before breaking. Bisimoto told me this himself when I asked about turbo charging the stock motor. Better to swap in the 1 5t motor /trans and ecu. It'll be a huge increase in reliable factory power and with a proper tune, 280 to 300 ft lbs of torque in a 2500 lb car!

that's awesome! Wish I could talk to him about this. So did he do the same by swapping in the 1.5t in or did he build the stick motor?

He built the motor up and ran stand alone ecu.
