nice job to the kids that presented the fit.
too bad that car has all the fastly bits yet slow.. needs turbo. definitely needs turbo on the fury orange. or orange fury.. was it?
at least it has carplay now though.

I really hate it when advertisers try to be hip by repeatedly use the word "cool" in their ads. All it shows is that they finally caught up to the language of 20+ years ago.
And incidentally I noticed that one of Honda's competitors in this segment also introduced orange as a new color for this year. I'm guessing that we'll soon be seeing a lot of orange cars running around as everyone piles in (to appeal to young people?). I owned my orange car back in 1975, a new MT VW Rabbit Where I learned a brutal lesson to never buy a new car in it's very first year of production). Of course VW called the color "Rallye Red" but it was really pretty much orange. Anyway "Rallye Red" does sound better than "Orange Fury" to me. Honda should have stolen the name.

There is supposedly another 25-40 horses in the 1500 cc engine w/o adding a turbo. The current Fit engine is very similar to the mighty B series, darling of the original tuners. The turbo would be nice, however, to boost low end torque as well as horsepower. Weight, space, and complication have to be considered.

To each his own, YMMV, and all that good stuff.
Yup, about as much chance of Honda doing it as offering a free upgrade for existing cars to the Orange Fury paint job.

Do you work for the competitor and can't tell us who is offering it?
I'd rather a K24 over a turbo...
While the kids did a good job of presenting, the writing wasn't spectacular. I also think that as usual Honda is trying to hip and aim the car at "the kids" but as usual "the olds" will be the ones to buy it. Of course I'm 42 and buying one so I don't know where I fit in (see what I did there?) but it's also a third car for me.

I've had 3 different Hondas, 2 Civics and the Fit, all Milano Red. I can remember one year that the red was called Rallye Red. Chrysler had an outrageous pallet for their factory hot rods in the 1970s.
Well, here's the 2018 "Orange Fury" Ford Mustang:

Wait, wait, why does that "Orange Fury" color sound so familiar????
Actually this wasn't even the car I was thinking about. There was another announcement about still another Ford car coming out in a new orange color but I can't remember where I saw it. I think it was a Ford Focus but not absolutely sure.

More insulation, apparently yes but they didn't really specify much. The windshield has been changed over to a sound resistant? absorbing? glass so that less noise will come in that way which has to be good considering how large the windshield is. I remember a few years ago when I was looking at Toyota's RAV4 they had just announced going over to the same glass to cut down on noise. Similar complaints about a noisy interior.
The 2018 Accord has a tuning knob as well. The lack of a tuning knob actually annoys me more than the lack of a volume knob as I have learned to use the steering wheel buttons for volume. Still, the touchscreen is my biggest annoyance in my 2015 Civic Si.

Then, my LX always had the volume knob.
