I have a 2016 LX purchased in Canada that does not have an AUX input.

I don't want to use the FM transmitter because of sound quality issues so I'm going to use Bluetooth.

I couldn't find a Sirius XM in-car unit that has Bluetooth output so it looks like my only option here is taking the 1/8" audio output and running it through a Bluetooth adapter, then using the Bluetooth input on the Honda radio.

It looks like I'll need a second power source for BT adapter as well as the Sirius.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this configuration and can suggest a BT adapter that worked well.

Also wondering what happens to the my iPhone connection if I'm using the BT input for sat radio.

 

Someone did this XM radio to bluetooth on here, said the sound quality was not as good, but I can't recall who. You'll need to search.

 

isn't there a Sirius app on cellphone and just output it thru BT? granted you have a nice data plan.
