Chrome Tailpipe Finisher?

Has anyone installed a chrome tailpipe finisher on their 3rd generation Honda Fit? If so, can you post a link tot he part you used?

Thanks!

I purchased this one from eBay:

Stainless Steel tail end pipe exhaust muffler tip for Honda FIT JAZZ 2014 2015 A | eBay

It fits perfectly, but I wound up not using it. PM me if you're interested and I'll send it to you for the cost of shipping.

I've bought and used the same tailpipe piece. It works well, but make sure you remove it before winter, as it will rust (poor quality steel), and you'll be looking for another next spring.

you'll want to do an axleback or catback. the bathtub faucet design wasnt intended to be a showcase piece... just functional.

@RavinManiac

In the end, personal taste - I just didn't care for the look. The older Fits have a straight tailpipe so a chrome finisher looks natural. On the GK with the bent tailpipe, it felt a bit off to me. YMMV.

kenchan's right. The best way to do this is with an aftermarket axleback or catback system. That will give you the look and the functionality. I'd love to do it for the look, but I'm trying to make my interior quieter!

I agree. I reached out to Magnaflow today. They make a lot of universal chrome extenders, so I asked which would fit the Honda Fit 3rd Generation. As soon as I hear back I'll update this thread.

I've seen and heard YouTube videos and agree on both fronts. Looks and sounds great!

Question - after you installed it, was engine sound louder in the interior?

Sure. I've got a few hundred $$$$ kicking around just burning a hole in my pocket.

It's been on there since last year, , so my memory of the factory exhaust may be a bit hazy, but I only really notice it under load/acceleration...cruising or just regular driving in traffic seems no louder than the engine and other noise already present. It was a bit pricey, though .... a lot more than a tip would be My wife wasn't real happy I replaced a perfectly good muffler - "YOU DIDN'T NEED THAT" ....she was right....but I WANTED it

The only vehicle I ever replaced a "perfectly good muffler" on is the Harley-Davidson.
