So i'm going to Thailand in September..

and I am aware of how HUGE the Fit/Jazz community is there. Now some of us have seen some of the coolest AERO parts made there and I plan on bringing some of those back with me (im looking into rear hatch wings, front lips, and front grills). Im sure ill be able to hand carry the very east a grill. The rest i'd need to coordinate some shipping method directly back home.

So for those who know of injection molding companies state side that are willing to create molds and reproduce some of these aero parts, I'd like to start the discussion.

The GK community seems pretty small stateside compared to anywhere else in the world, but I'd like to contribute to our small community who would be willing to make this happen.

Thoughts? Let's get some dope Aero parts available here stateside you guys!

some thai tuner shops i plan to visit:

??? ????????????? ?????? ??????? ??????? ?????????? Evo Mazda2 Car Accessories & Spoiler Civic Import Export

anymore?

Cheers!

I was there for a few days about two years ago, and what I noticed were all the 2 stroke motorcycles. As an avid 2 stroker from back in the day, it was like stepping back into 1970.

I can't recall seeing many fits in Thailand. Lots of tuk tuks, but no fits.

bring a much older Thai person with you when u go buy. they will not negotiate with someone younger than them, and will find it offensive if u insist. as a young person, you have to listen to the older person. just saying. have fun. don't get ripped off.

also look for rstyle in that big mall in bangkok, MGK or something.

What's up everyone!

Well I am back from my trip to South East Asia (Vietnam-Thailand) and had a blast! Both countries are just rich in history and adventure. Beaufitul sceneries, amazing food, kind people! A must on your "to visit" list. I thought I could take this time to share with you some photos of some cars that caught my eye.

So an interesting thing in Thailand, everyone and their mom has Volk rep wheels, especially TE37s! Man do they look real also. I thought to myself, there is no way even econo-car owners are throwing TEs on their rides like they can afford it.
Also got to see and ride via Uber in a Honda Freed. Cool looking 7 seater car that looks like a bigger Fit. Wish they had that one and the Honda Brio state side. The Brio has to be the coolest little Honda to drop a Kseries in though! Also saw this Honda SUV/Crossover I did not recognize.

Anyways, hope you enjoy the pictures.

Unfortunately, there was nothing worthy of purchasing except for some nice Volk Ray's Duralumin lugs I got for a stellar deal. I did visit a indoor mall that sold mostly car accessories, but none of them had any specific GK5 parts. Alot of the stuff they had were rep's of all sorts of things. So dissapointing! I found out that most of the tuner shops that had what I was looking for were located at the outskirts of Bangkok, and with all the traffic going on, Thai Nationals making their final respects to the late King Rama IX, there was no way to make it back and forth during the middle of our Thailand tour.
I am definitely going back though! Maybe in the next 2 years or something.

On other news, I just pulled the trigger on a quality replica RS wing I purchased thru AliExpress. I think per the vendor, should be here in less than a month. Was shared to me from a fellow GK5 owner who purchased my HKS Hi-Power Silent Axle back.

I should finally get my Sports Pedals and SS Brake lines installed now that this family vaca is out of the way, and work load is not as bad.

Cheers!

Welcome back!!! Hey, is that an old blue MGB-GT in that one pic, or something else entirely??? ....kinda sorta looks like one, iirc....always wanted one when I was a kid.....rear looks a little rounder than I recall, but, hey, it's been decades, and all

Actually went with silver color match. If went had gone CF, would have to be GT wing style like J's, but only worthy if the car pushed atleast 200whp. Cant get over the stock RS look, saw sooo many in Thailand.
