Honda "HIM" Diagnostics
I bought a "HIM" diagnostic system.
I was wondering if anyone else has this and if so, can you offer any assistance or "Gottcha" advice ?

Looks like it's an interface so you can connect a laptop running the HDS scanner program to the car.
Also...looks like a Chinese cloned tool.
Beware!
What's on the disc? .....all your personal and banking info gets sent to China as soon as it finds the internet??
Does it come with cloned HDS software too?
It may be buggy, it may be corrupt, it may not be updateable, maybe more. I guess you won't know what you got until you try it out.
Looks like it needs a laptop running Win XP or Win 7 ??? Got that?
At the dealers, the HIM tool was obsolete a decade ago, maybe longer.
Also...looks like a Chinese cloned tool.

Please report when you hook it up, I'd be curious to know what you'd tweak. Before the Fit I had a VW and there was a meetup once where one guy had a software tool (VAG-com) and was tweaking stuff for people, it was pretty cool.
