Does the driver seat fold backwards flat?

Does the driver seat fold backwards flat?
Does the drivers seat fold backwards flat to fit flush with rear seats and let you stretch/sleep (like the passenger seat does) in 2015-2017 models, just like it does in the new 2018 model?
Or is this a new feature in the 2018 model?

I believe it's called refresh mode, and it is in all GKs. Check the manual on line for more information.

2017 LX CVT. The front passenger seat does not lie flat with the back seat. You may try to manipulate both seats at the same time to see if you could tug the seat back under the rear seat. You may want to take out the two rear seats and flip both front seat back down to get much more sleeping room. There are some more photos with both front seats reclined here. http://www.fitownersclub.com/forums/...read.php?t=115

I realized this after I saw the animated seat folding in the marketing email from Honda for 2018 model. But will check the manual when I get a chance.

In my 2016 I have used "Refresh Mode" with both passenger and drivers seats.
In my owners manual, it us under "Reclining The Front Seats" and show's both seats being reclined in this manner.
This is a mode that for what should be obvious reasons, should only be used while the vehicle is parked and NOT MOVING.
What I usually do, is put the passenger seat in "Refresh Mode" when at a rest stop. Leaving my drivers seat-untouched...adjusted for driving.
I put the passenger seat back like normal before driving again.
But my experience and the owners manual itself suggests that at least on the 2016 you can do both seats.
Since it takes me a while to get my drivers position how I like it, when I want refresh mode it is always the passenger seat. But that's my personal preference and of course when I'm traveling alone.
PS. It's explained on Pg. 139 of my full owners manual, under the heading "Reclining the Front Seats".

"The front passenger seat does not lie flat with the back seat." Not in my experience. I think you CAN get the both seats to recline flat. I know passenger seat FOR SURE, because I have done it. 2016 Honda Fit EX.
The trick is to remove headrest, push seat all the way forward...and recline/angle back seat back. The angling of the back seat is key, it creates just enough additional space...that you can get the top of the passenger seat to align evenly with the front of the rear seat. No bump.
I regrettably have circulation issues that mean on a long road trip I MUST stop, stretch and walk. And being able to use the refresh mode is a HUGE plus for me now. I love it.
What other vehicle in any class allows you to make a lounge like recliner out of your front seats?
IMO....it's great.
PS.
If you use "Refresh Mode" one thing I would recommend is having a pillow, blanket, or anything to cover the very end of your seat, because if you sit in the extended refresh mode position your shoes will now be on the seat bottom of your front seat. Any dirt, mud will get on your seat bottom. So...cover it or remove your shoes, or you will have to clean that seat bottom.
