Picked it up last night... what fun to drive and love the color. Android Auto integration is great, nice to have the upcoming turn info pop up on the multi-info display panel next to the speedometer. Coming from an Accent it's like a world of quality difference inside. Looking forward to many years with it!

Congrats! The Helios Yellow looks awesome. Unfortunately we don't get it up here in Canada so I had to order my 2018 Sport in Orange Fury. I'm 6-8 weeks from getting mine though.

Admittedly, I'm a smidge jealous. I've wanted a Helios Yellow Fit for some time now and now that they're available state side they're not within budget. haha

It's Helios Yellow. It has a nice gold/copper/orange pearl mixed into the paint. Looks great freshly cleaned.

Congrats on your new 2018 EX. Is it CVT or 6MT? Made in Japan or Mexico?

 

CVT assembled in Mexico. I saw maybe 2 Japanese VIN Fits in the city, both manuals, neither of them in my color. Haven't noticed any finish or trim problems or anything else, but I dunno. I guess I read some of the talk about Japanese ones being better but it wasn't an option for me so I just went for the one they could get. It seems fine so far.

 

As I understand it ALL Fits are back to being made in Mexico for the 2018 year. Any Japanese Fits on dealer lots should be mostly 2017 CVT models.

 

You may be right, it's possible that I remember seeing the JHM VINs when I was still trying to decide on a 2017 or 2018 model. The vast majority if not all VINs I remember looking at on 2018s were all 3HG. Like I said though... only been driving for about two weeks, but not a single complaint in finish/trim/operation thus far anyway. Everything feels solid and well put together.
