Does anyone have experience with this code on their gen 3 fit ?


Evap canister purge valve circuit malfunction ?

 

Had it on an entirely different car(Dodge Intrepid), problem was too expensive to diagnose/correct, in my case it would have been throwing good money after bad(YMMV). In fact, shortly after that I bought my 2015 Fit.

 

Purge valve CIRCUIT problem....means it's electrical in nature, such as incorrect resistance of the valve, or open circuit/unplugged, lost power, etc.

Visual inspect first.... Rodents LOVE to chew wires.

Purge valve is on top squished between air box and DI pump, a hose leads to the throttle body.
