Reading this thread made me realize that most of the time I buy gas it's at a station that's either new or has recently replaced its tanks. I guess that's a good thing.

 

I have learned a lot about the Honda Fit gas gauge after one year of ownership. When one bar is showing there is about 0.5 gallon left. If I know there are gas stations nearby, I don't go hunting for one until zero bar is showing. I have been able to top off the tank to as much as 11.3 gallons of gas. The average mph indication is generous to over 2 miles to a gallon.
