Is there any way to change the background on all the screens on the touch screen? I'm not talking about just the clock view, I mean the image behind the menus and media player, etc.

 

not to my knowledge.....its VERY limited.

 

I found the setting where I can change the background, I changed it to some random default one, and I can't find where it's even suppose to be displayed. Only clock on my touchscreen is one in the way upper right.

If you are talking about the wallpaper, Galaxy, Blank or Metallic on my 2016, you can import images from a flash drive.
The instructions on how to do so, on my 2016 are on page 194 of the owners manual, under "import wallpaper".

I've found websites that offer downloadable images. Some pretty neat. But I'm too paranoid to download them for fear of a getting an evil computer virus.
There are parameters, but you can download personalized wallpaper if you wish.

But if you mean change the image behind ALL the screens...no...you can change color theme...but the wallpaper is only top view.

 

I changed my background as galaxy just to test it but I don't see the wallpaper anywhere. I'm not sure where it's suppose to show itself.

 

 

 

Yea, that's what I was afraid of. Seems silly that we can't customize something that simple, but oh well.

 

Seems to me that on most other screens NOT the Clock screen, there is so much information shown, that what the background might be, would be pretty much obscured anyway.
