Daylight savings time question

Daylight savings time question
I don’t know if it’s just me that made a mistake or not, but not having a GPS system unit, Saturday I changed the clock one hour up preparing for the daylight savings time on Sunday at 2 AM. Later on Sunday I noticed that my Clock was not at the correct time but another hour added. I thought my non-GPS system wouldn’t do this, only a GPS system would automatically change the clock. Did anybody else notice this? If not, then it was me that made the mistake.

This morning I went out to my 2018 LX, put the key in and turned the screen on, but didn't start the car. The time was wrong, still showing old time. Waited .... and about a minute later the time automatically changed and moved one hour up so that it's correct now. Looking around in the clock menu I see that there is a setting to automatically update for Daylight time if you want and I have it "on". Otherwise you'd have to do it manually yourself. I don't have GPS so I'm not sure where the Fit gets the time information, perhaps off radio station sub carriers which may carry that kind of info.

On my 2018 EX I had to manually change the time to the correct one. I went into clock settings and "Daylight savings time" was ON, so I don't know why it didn't work.....I pressed ON again and it finally changed itself. Hope I don't have to do that again.

What happens with me is that I forget to change the car clocks (because I don't have the keys on me when I'm adjusting all the other house clocks).
Days later, when I go for a drive, a few miles in I realize $%&$@%^ I forgot to change the time, and I start messing with it while on the road! (Distracted Driving)
Of course, someone else ALWAYS has it worse than us:

I wonder if this must be a new feature on the newer Fits?
I checked my owners manual for my 2016 Honda Fit EX and it doesn't seem to suggest there is any "automatic" way for it to adjust. Only how to change it manually.
So if the new Fits have a automatic way? That must be a change.

The 2018 Fit got a minor mid term upgrade in a number of areas. Honda mentioned some of the major things like better soundproofing and the radio knob but there were probably a number of other small things done which they never mentioned and I guess this is one of them. There's probably a few other small things which Honda did on the 2018 which no one is aware of yet.

Yes, on the 2018 model EX, there is an option in settings that you can turn on or off for daylight savings time. I’m guessing that it works off the radio station to get the proper time. Nice to have instead of having to buy the GPS system at a greater cost and using your smart phone for directions. $1000 upgrade GPS system is way too much.

My 2015 EX will update the time automatically if and when it syncs to a phone using Bluetooth. I am sometimes out of town on work for several days at a time, and during these periods I disconnect my Fit's battery to avoid excessive drain. When I reconnect it, it lights up with the time on its factory default, but within seconds of the display showing that a Bluetooth connection to my phone has been established, the clock automatically starts to show the correct time. Without a phone to sync to, however, I have to set the time manually.
