Rear wheel base

Can anyone confirm the rear wheel base width on a GK5 is less then the front wheel base width? If so are people using wheel spacers to get the rear wheels to be as flush to the fenders as the front?

Cannot confirm, either they're not spaced as far apart as the front or perhaps the rear of the car is wider (based solely on visual inspection) ? But, yeah, have read of folks using spacers to bring them out further to be flush.

Get a measuring tape and measure? The rears may just sit less "flush" because of body work.

Funny, I was just comparing the specs of my girlfriend's 2018 Fit to my 2008 Civic Coupe. What you're asking about is the "track", the wheelbase is the distance between the front and rear wheels. Yes, there's a difference. The rear track is 0.3" narrower than the front on all models except the Sport. The difference on the Sport is 0.4". Interestingly, both the front and rear track on the Sport is narrower than the other models. Here's a chart:

It's common for front wheels to have a wider 'track' than the rears these days. (Actually, for the past 30 years)

That said, .3" is hardly noticeable!
