Winter Tire Setup for 2016 EX-L

Hello! My wife just purchased a 2016 EX-L and we found a great deal on a winter tire setup. They are 175/65R15 on 15" steelies and I just wanted to verify that these will fit. I searched all over and couldn't find another instance of someone using 175/65R15 other than 2nd gen Honda Fits. I can't imagine they wouldn't fit but I just wanted to make sure! Thanks

If your'e talking diameter of the tire, then yes, it's perfect. It's actually closer to the OD of the 16" EX tire than the size that honda specs for the 15" LX...

ex factory tire 185/55/16 = 610 mm
lx factory tire 185/60/15 = 603 mm

your tire 175/65/15 = 608 mm

As far as the rim goes, you've got to check hub bore, offset, and bolt pattern...are these factory honda rims?

Thats a perfect size for the Fit. When my 2nd-gen was totaled, i used the winter wheel set for my 3rd-gen. It's worth getting the factory rims from Honda, so to have the correct offset and center hole diameter. Plus after five winters they still haven't started rusting, and that's in Toronto road salt.

The narrower section width works better in snow and slush, and with the x-ice3 it has been a great winter car and a cornering demon in cold weather on wet or dry pavement.
