Please help! Rear headrest stuck.

Hello! I am wondering if someone can help me? My backseat headrest for the 2018 Honda Fit is stuck and will not lower. I have tried the lever in the front, but nothing works. I really need to lower it to fit my stuff for a move this weekend. Any pointers? Am I overlooking something? (I am not a car person.) Thank you in advance for any insight!!

Thank you for your response! I do not know how to remove it... I did not install the rear head rests and I have never removed them. It is just stuck at the highest height and will not lower...

yah, you push that little tab in by the base of the posts (just like any other car) and it should pull out of the seat backs. not sure why it'd be stuck though in the first place.

Are you sure you are pushing the button? For the driver's headrest, the "button" is on the side (towards the center of the car), not the front.

I'm sure Honda has their reason(s), perhaps, but I find it strange that the adjustment buttons on my front seats both are on center of car side of headrest base, and the backseat adjustment buttons are all three oriented towards the driver side. Have never needed to remove them, they go down really far if you flip out the bottom of the rear rest when lowering it. Have removed the passenger front rest only when my wife wants to kick back in Barcalounger relax mode on long roadtrips.

Are you still under warranty? If so just take it to the dealer
