2015 Honda Fit (CVT) - Noise when accelerating (video in description)
Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm looking for advice as I have a problem with my Fit 2015. Here's a bit of context
In the last two months or so I've begin hearing a new noise. It can only be heard when accelerating hard.
I have around 28k miles on it (45k km). I did my "big maintenance" around 21k miles (35k km) so a bit less than year ago and everything was ok back then.
Apart from that, oil change was 2 months ago and I Krown applied to my car around a month ago. I don't believe these are related but we never know...
I took it to a mechanic who checked for around 30 minutes and couldn't find the source. He said it's pretty much trial and error and he could check for 2 hours and still not find it.
He also said that these kind of noises are 3 years warranty... of course I'm already over that.
Here's an example video. You can hear it from 0:04 to 0:09.
Anyone have any ideas? Source of the noise, or what I can do from there?
Thanks in advance

I Krown - that's some form of rustproofing, right? I'm assuming adding it wouldn't add resonance to everyday engine/tranny noises, but who knows.
I hear a low rumble sound with overtones of straining, but it's kinda hard to make out what's going on.
If I had to guess, I'd say the CVT is voicing displeasure at its workload, but whether that's normal or abnormal is unknown. I don't push my CVT very hard so haven't gotten to that point.

Have you ever changed the CVT fluid? Although it's still early you might want to try that to see if it makes any difference. Take a look at the old fluid coming out to see how it compares to the new fluid.
